Eternal Winter: The Tomb of Parisa Eghbalian and Reera Esmaeilion

Music for the The Tomb of Parisa Eghbalian and Reera Esmaeilion, victims of the flight PS752, downed by the IRGC, Elgin Mills Cemetery, Richmond Hill, Canada (Section 27  lot 1014) Design by Barbad Golshiri

This piece composed in three parts: Catastrophe, Eternal Winter, and the third part called Endless Lullaby. The third Part, Endless Lullaby, is engraved on one side of the stone, and you can actually see the string trio’s sheet music there.

Essentially, you can scan the QR code to hear the piece, and you can also play it directly from the partiture engraved on the stone. During the “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising, a string trio actually gathered at the gravesite in Richmond Hill and performed Endless Lullaby in their memory.
